Terms of service

Last updated October 2, 2026

These terms apply to DineOS, the restaurant software run by Remon Ramy in Egypt, and to this website. A restaurant's written agreement with us (its plan, price and any special terms) comes first where it says something different. Using DineOS means you accept these terms.

The service

DineOS gives restaurants a QR menu and the tools around it: ordering, kitchen displays, waiting lists, screens, recipes and stock, guest offers, messages, reviews and reports. Which of these a restaurant can use depends on its plan. We add and improve features over time, and we may change or retire one with reasonable notice to the restaurants that use it.

Accounts

The restaurant owner is responsible for the accounts they create and the roles they give. Keep passwords private and tell us straight away if you think an account was misused. We may lock an account to protect a restaurant or its guests.

Plans and payment

Prices, billing periods and what each plan includes are agreed with each restaurant. Invoices are due a week after a billing period starts unless we agreed otherwise. If a plan ends or isn't paid, its features stop working, but the restaurant can still reach support and ask for its data.

Acceptable use

Your data

A restaurant's menu, guest and business data belong to the restaurant. We use them only to run DineOS for it, as described in our privacy policy. The restaurant is responsible for telling its guests how their data is used, and DineOS gives every menu a privacy page for that. You can ask for an export of your data at any time, and when you leave we delete it as the privacy policy describes.

Google and WhatsApp features

Google Business Profile and WhatsApp features rely on Google and Meta. Their own terms apply, and if either changes or withdraws access, we may have to change or pause the feature. Replies to Google reviews are written by the restaurant's staff and posted in the restaurant's name.

Availability

We work hard to keep DineOS running and back up every restaurant's data continuously, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted. Planned maintenance happens outside busy hours where we can manage it.

Liability

DineOS is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost sales, and our total liability to a restaurant is limited to what it paid us in the three months before the problem. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law.

Ending the service

A restaurant can stop using DineOS at the end of its billing period. We can end the service for a restaurant that seriously breaks these terms, after warning it unless the breach puts others at risk.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
