Do guests have to install anything?
No. They scan the code on the table and the menu opens in the phone's browser. Your own team can add the dashboard to their home screen so it opens like an app and sends notifications, but that's optional too.
Which languages does it speak?
Every menu is in English plus a second language you choose. Arabic and German are ready today, and Arabic pages read right to left the way they should. The dashboard is in Arabic, English or German, and each person picks their own.
We have several branches with different prices. Is that a problem?
That's the setup DineOS was built around. There's one master menu, and each branch can change a price, hide a dish or keep its own stock. Every branch gets its own QR codes, so you can see which one a guest was sitting in.
Can we start with just the menu and add ordering later?
Yes. Features come in plans, so a restaurant can begin with the QR menu and its numbers, then switch on table ordering, recipes and stock, or the marketing tools when it's ready. Nothing has to be set up again when you add them.
Who owns the guest data?
You do. Each restaurant has its own database, guests only share a phone number if they choose to, and WhatsApp messages only go to people who said yes on WhatsApp itself. We never sell data or show ads to your guests. The details are in our privacy policy.
What happens if the server has a bad day?
Every change to a restaurant's data is copied off the server within seconds, and the whole server is copied to a second machine every hour. Updates are tested before they go live, and if a new version fails its health check, the old one comes straight back.
